Steps to be followed to make ringtone
- Choose the length of your ringtone by right-clicking on the music file then choose the “get info” tab. The maximum length of each ringtone should be 30 seconds for best results. Now return to the home screen by clicking “OK”.
- Now you have chosen you dream ringtone of desired length. Please right click the song again and select the “Convert selection to AAC” tab. Now you can see your selected part of the song or music in your iTunes music folder. (Located under “Music > iTunes > iTunes Media” or on a Windows, under “My Documents > My Music > iTunes > iTunes Media”)
- Once you have completed the above task, right-click a final time and choose “Get info’ again. Now you have to rename the file in order to save the file in .m4r from .m4a to get recognized as a ringtone by your iPhone. At last, you should drag the newly created .m4r file into ‘ringtones’ folder of your iPhone.
